About the team

Marek Rissmann - founder, main shareholder, and CEO of RISSMANN Consulting. His natural persistence and reliability assure the high quality of the company's services. Leading the RC team, Mr. Rissmann has carried out many projects in Mergers and Acquisitions, organization, management and controlling.

Mr. Rissmann graduated from the University of Nicholas Copernicus, Toruń, Poland, economics department in 1982. During his independent study program, he also studied with professors of the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw School of Economics (formerly the General School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw), and the Economic Academy in Poznań. He received scholarships from the University of Pittsburgh (USA, 1990) and the Freie Universitat in Berlin (Germany, 1991). He has published about 20 articles in Polish journals of politics and economics on American economic policy. He has taught economics at the University of Nicholas Copernicus in Toruń and the Polish Institute of International Affairs in Warsaw. In the 1990s, after his academic work, he was economic and financial manager in two Polish companies. He speaks English.

Ewa Połomska-Wieczorek - senior consultant and the chief accountant of RISSMANN Consulting. Employed at Rissmann Consulting since graduating from university in 1999. Her optimism and cheerful attitude are well received by customers. She deals mainly with area of mergers and acquisitions, financial and organizational strategies and controlling.

Ms Połomska graduated from the University of Nicholas Copernicus in Toruń, economics department in 1999. She received scholarships from the program Banks and Finance in Market Economy at Saarbrücken University (Germany, 1998) and DAAD at the Europa Kolleg in partnership with Bundeswehr University in Hamburg (Germany, 1999). She speaks German and some English.

Katarzyna Słomska - consultant in the team of RISSMANN Consulting since 2007; her honesty and diligence confirm that our customers won't be disappointed in their expectations for RC; she is mainly responsible for contacts with customers and marketing aspects, and for cooperating in fundraising of European Union financial support.

She graduated from the University of Nicholas Copernicus in Toruń, law department in 2006.

Claire Holzner - citizen of the United States of America; has cooperated with RISSMANN Consulting for several years. Comes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, resident in Poland for seven years; BA history (University of Colorado 1988), MA TEFL (St. Michael's College, Vermont, 1993). Native speaker of English, also speaks Polish and German. Has worked at universities in Pittsburgh, Pa., Boulder, Co., and Vermont, and in businesses in London and Austria. Presently works in Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where she is a teacher of English for foreigners.
